Your Memories of Arsenal at Home
Unfortunately, our Home record Vs Arsenal since I've been going is fucking diabolical - although I know that victories against them at our gaff, especially, were a lot more frequent in the 1980s and before.

2-1 win in 99/00 - PAOLO making a fool of Adams and Keown.

1-0 victory in 06/07 (our last at Home to them) - Marlon with a late winner; Pardew and Wenger clashing on the sidelines!

Shit ones:

Far too many.

0-4 in 98/99 - worst debut I've ever seen from Scott Minto. Even the Arsensl fans were chanting 'give it to Minto'.

0-3 in 10/11 - another awful cunt debut from Wayne Bridge. Wanker.

Most gutting:

FA Cup quarter-final penalty shootout defeat in 97/98. Deserved to go through at Highbury and at our place. Would've won the FA Cup that year if we had done so.

You cunts?

2-2 in the FA Cup when were were two up. We were bottom of the league at the time and they were top. Still we won the replay 1-0.

Around about 1970 when they tried to take the North Bank. So funny.

3-1. 1987 - Brady scored a cracker then dived (sort of) into the chicken run.

29 years ago tomorrow.

8th April 1987

West Ham 3 - Arsenal 1

Rocastle trips over the ball on the half way line, our left wing, presenting the ball to Liam Brady, who runs weaving all the way to the edge of the box to unleash a low shot across the keeper into the bottom corner of the goal, and then steams over to the Chicken Run and dives into the section that at half time had the biggest ruck with the police you have ever seen at West Ham. Forget the shadow boxing with the stewards at the Millwall cup match.

What I believe is these day referred to as SCENES.

One of my earliest memories is David SEAMAN taking-out Trevor MORLEY when through on-goal! Moustached smiley face cunt!

Got his marching orders but, unfortunately, the game still finished goalless.

93/94 season - we won 2-0 at Highbury though towards the end of the campaign.

DICKSY missing a rare penalty in 95/96! Took a blow to the head earlier in the game and shouldn't have really took it. Lost 0-1 but we were miles better than them in that match. A young John HARTSON got their winner... A year later; he joined us.

Most have been mentioned but there was a 2-1 home defeat in 96-97 which was the night of the red card Tabor demo.

I think a certain Slaven BILIC onioned for us, or at least assisted it.

The anti-Bond Scheme Match towards the end of 91-92 Season.

Where Perry Groves begged George Graham to take him off, I always wondered what he did to upset Julian Dicks.

One Mac - Mike Newall up front that night, the useless cunt

It was an awful few months, oh dear son.

Leeds and Villa at home also stick out in that period. Depressing.

Re: Your Memories of Arsenal at Home
Might have been in the game when Seaman was sent off, but remember a bunch of bananas landing at Kevin Campbell's feet that were thrown from the chicken run.

Poor sod stood there not knowing what to do before Dicksy booted them away.

As for games, the 2-1 win when Di Canio literally raped Keown was marvellous.

Remember a 4-1 loss in 88 being an early season indicator of how that year was going to turn out

Beating them 3-1 is think Chris Whyte scored an own goal mst have been about 82

Seeing Lampard and PDC take the piss out of Viera and Keowon was awesome, they got mugged left and right in that game! Of course it got better after Razor walked 20 yards to barge Viera who started spitting at everyone and got sent off.

Re: Your Memories of Arsenal at Home
performance wise, Paolo destroying them and Keown was special

the other one was the midweek 1996-97 game when they beat us 2-1 at home, quite a few of us in the bobby moore lower stayed after the final whistle to let Brown know we needed some new signings. they finally moved us out the stand but we continued to the players entrance. brown obviously wouldn't show his face but we did sign kitson & hartson within the next few weeks so happy days

Re: Your Memories of Arsenal at Home
That 1987 match was a classic.
The ruck at HT was caused by the old bill wading into the corner of the Chicken Run near the South Bank, as WHU fans had been throwing an Arsenal scarf around. No Arsenal were involved at all.
The old bill were cunts that night.
